Emotional Eating & Healthful Life
If you eat to manage your emotions, you may have discovered it doesn’t work. Once you’re done eating, you might even feel worse. Eating can easily become a strategy for coping with depression, anxiety, boredom, stress and anger. If this sounds like you, there is a chance you are affected by an underlying issue such as binge-eating disorder, depression, impulse control disorder or another emotional condition. Dr. Reddan, PhD, LCSW and Applied Behavioral Sciences can help you resolve these issues once and for all and give you the skills, attitudes, beliefs, motivation, knowledge, insights and leadership to gain self-control and achieve all your health, nutrition and lifestyle goals.
Dr. Reddan, PhD, LCSW and Applied Behavioral Sciences is dedicated to providing treatments for overeating and other impulsive and compulsive unhealthy food-related issues for men and women. Our multi-disciplinary team of doctors are health, nutrition and psychology experts, and we will work hard to help you or your loved one learn to cope with any uncomfortable feelings instead of turning to binge-eating and assist you in making improvements in your mental health that will lead to more productive attitudes and belief systems about healthful living, food, nutrition, life and well-rounded success.
Applied Behavioral Sciences is a private and confidential behavioral health program designed specifically to help you with your emotional, eating, nutritional and healthful lifestyle goals and challenges. At Applied Behavioral Sciences, we use individual and group psychotherapy as primary treatment models and can include medical and psychiatric interventions if necessary. Home and kitchen visits, field trips, and community outings to restaurants, supermarkets, stores and events can be arranged. Most insurance is accepted.
